
As some of you may know, you can use the Notifications tool in the Blogs to send an e-mail about a new blog entry to a list of e-mail addresses. This can be useful for updating students in your course or co-workers about a project blog.
To send a notification, you create or open an entry, then click the "Notification" tab to the right. This will open a window where you can enter a list of e-mail addresses, type a message and include all or part of your entry.
To create a list of e-mail addresses, click the Notifications tab to the left then click the link to add a new recipient. Recipients must be added one at a time.
When you click the "Notification" button on the left, you will now see an option to send a message to recipients in the Notifications list.
