It shouldln't be so absurd to anyone how something on MTV would spark such an outburst from the Teenage community. The actual reactions were even more than expected. Guessing the percentages, i'd say 70 percente of all facebook news feeds right after Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift at the MTV VMA's were posting and commenting on posts that all said one of two things... "KANYE IS SO RUDE" (or something to the likes of that) or "HAHA KANYE" (again, edited and summarized). In an always connected world we live in this is such an absurd concept but its becoming less and less crazy... The part that drives me mad is the highly talked about twitter. The president of the United States couldn't even escape its reach when he was asked about the absurd subject. When a CSNBC reporter asked the president if he younger daughters were as shocked as the reporters daughters the president addressed it saying how they didn't aprove. KEEP IN MIND THIS WAS OFF THE RECORD. Then right after, the reporter asked something along the lines of why do you think he would do that? Obama replied... "He's a jackass." Obviously the president should watch what he says but in an off the record conversation he should have a little ley-way... Not the case when an ABC reporter twittered Obama's exact comments and i'm sure most people have heard how that story ends. One, it's amazing how many people get worked up over one egotistical event in pop cultre.. and two; the power of twitter hides from no one.
Hi,
I was trying to upload text to my 'Home', 'About' tabs in the topnav bar. Apparently - even if I put @home, @about me in the tag field, its not updating on the main page. Finally - I republished site couple time...however no luck there too.
Kindly advice.
Thanks,
Suhas
I am working with a faculty member who is having students use blogs - she is following their postings with an RSS feeder - We started with google reader, but it wasn't reliable or timely for following comments - then I tried My Yahoo - better - but didn't get everything - following both entries and comments...
Last choice was Bloglines - and so far, for entries, it seems to be working fine... Haven't tried to follow comments yet that way. Does anyone know why one would work better than another - or if there is a preferred RSS reader for PSU Blogs? - Are there plans for an integrated PSU feeder tool at some point?
Thanks!
Can you help me understand the difference in use between the tag field and keyword field. When would you use one over another? I've always thought of them as the same thing.
Thanks!
I'm having a little trouble with the style window, i wish to change it so that the layout will be of a wide /thin layout but i can't find the code for it anywhere in the .css or any other place. Is there any way to change the body. for an example of what is currently happening you can view the page here
http://www.personal.psu.edu/jwk5084/blogs/resume/resume.html
the window cuts off the text (because its a table) but i want the window to be larger.
Thanks in advance.
Jake

I would like to allow anyone in the world to comment on my blog once an email has been sent to me to approve it. I would like trusted commenters to have their comments posted immediately. What settings do I need to use to have this configuration?
Right now it shows up as Home, Blog, .... last About. I want to order my tabs to make sense. I would like Home first, then About and so on. How do I do this?
I tried changing the publish dates but that is confusing. Any other way or easier way to arrange tabs?
